East Carolina is one that&#8217;s gotten on a good hate for the Tar Heels. Is it difficult to max the emotion that they will bring to the game?<\/p>\n<p><B>UNC COACH EVERETT WITHERS:<\/B> You know, I<br \/>\ndon&#8217;t think it is. I think our kids want to win games<br \/>\nand winning on the road to me is what defines<br \/>\ngood teams, teams that can go on the road in<br \/>\nhostile environments and win, and get on the bus<br \/>\nand get on the plane and come home. To me<br \/>\nthat&#8217;s what defines a good football &#8212; and that&#8217;s<br \/>\nwhat we are trying to do. Doesn&#8217;t matter if they are<br \/>\nwearing a purple helmet or whoever it is. The<br \/>\nemotion part of it is, can you go into a hostile<br \/>\nenvironment and play well, and win a game. And<br \/>\nthat&#8217;s what we are focusing on this week. It&#8217;s a<br \/>\nrival game. I&#8217;m sure there&#8217;s some emotions,<br \/>\nbecause kids know kids on each team; coaches<br \/>\nknow coaches, that type deal.<br \/>\nBut when you get out there on the grass<br \/>\nand that ball is kicked off, all of that stuff has really<br \/>\ngot to go out the window.
