Williams, who received $1,426 in benefits, must miss  four games and pay $450.67 to charity of his choice. <br \/><\/span><span><br \/><\/span><span>\u201cWe plan to appeal the length of the suspensions,\u201d said Dick Baddour, <span class=\"yshortcuts\" id=\"lw_1285187124_4\" style=\"background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent; border-bottom: 2px dotted rgb(54, 99, 136); cursor: pointer;\">UNC<\/span>  Director of Athletics. &nbsp;\u201cWhile I respect the NCAA process, I believe  the penalties to be unduly harsh given the individual circumstances in  these cases.\u201d<br \/><\/span><span><br \/><\/span><span>The university declared both student-athletes ineligible for violations of NCAA agent benefits and <span class=\"yshortcuts\" id=\"lw_1285187124_5\">preferential treatment<\/span> rules. According to a UNC release, these benefits in part included trips to <span class=\"yshortcuts\" id=\"lw_1285187124_6\">California<\/span>,  Atlanta and Las Vegas for Burney and two trips to California for  Williams. The majority of the benefits Burney received were from an agent.
