\"\"<\/a>The Triangle area is down to its last team in the state high school football playoffs. Undefeated Carrboro at 15-0 takes on South Iredell (13-2) in the 2-AA finals Saturday at 7 p.m. at Raleigh’s Carter Finley Stadium.<\/p>\n

Garner, who had played inspired ball for retiring coach Nelson Smith, led Jack Britt 8-0 in the fourth quarter but gave up two late touchdowns to lose and end Smith’s career.
