NC State is done in Omaha after falling to Florida, 5-4, in Monday’s elimination game in the College World Series. The Wolfpack gave up four runs in the second with Dom Fritton on the mound and couldn’t quite get back over the hump after taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning to end the season in the CWS. The showing marks the first time in program history the Wolfpack hasn’t won a game in a trip to Omaha. The Pack clawed back in both games, but ultimately dropped to 38-23 to close out the year.
