North Carolina looked good in whipping James Madison 42-10 as new QB Bryn Renner set a Tar Heels pass completion record. It was a little bit tougher for NC State which led 30-21 before pouring it on late to win 43-21. Duke lost to Richmond for the third time in five years, this time by a 23-21 score in Durham.
