Cardinal Gibbons’ Harris named volleyball NC Player of the Year
Cardinal Gibbons junior Genevieve Harris has been named the Gatorade North Carolina Player of the Year in volleyball. Harris, a 5-foot-11 setter, who helped Gibbons to a perfect 22-0 record this past fall, including a win in the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A state championship. Please click here for more.

High school playoffs round up: Cleveland, Jordan, Gibbons, Millbrook advance
The No. 1 Cleveland Rams’ defeated No. 16 Ashley 21-3 in the second round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A football playoffs. They’ll play Durham Jordan which defeated Apex Friendship 41-14.
