Athens Drive’s Noah Valyo sets record at 4A cross country championship

Athens Drive senior Noah Valyo arrived at the Ivey M. Redmon Sports Complex in Kernersville for the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A state championship on Saturday running for a school that had never won a boys cross country individual state championship. HS Football: Wake Forest ends losing streak with first round win at Garner

Apex Friendship soccer avenges regular season losses, upsets Green Level in playoffs

Green Level beat Apex Friendship twice during the regular season en route to winning the Southwest Wake 4A Conference title, but the Patriots got the last win. On the road in the second round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A boys soccer state playoffs, (15) Apex Friendship defeated (2) Green Level 2-0 to advance to the third round.
