North Carolina football coach Mack Brown, the oldest coach in college football’s top tier, is not retiring after the season, a UNC spokesman said Thursday. The statement from Jeremy Sharpe, UNC’s director of football communications, came after a report from 247 Sports said that “industry sources the last two weeks” have been saying “to watch out for a potential retirement” by the 72-year-old Brown.
