North Carolina and Miami only played five full innings before torrential downpours ended the game, giving the Hurricanes a 7-5 win over the Tar Heels. North Carolina went in to the fifth leading 5-1, but a six-run inning in the bottom of the fifth from the Hurricanes gave them the 7-5 decisive lead before the weather ended the weekend series.
