GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The NC State women’s tennis team defeated 11th-ranked Florida, 4-3, on Monday at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend to earn a bid to the ITA Division I National Team Indoor Championship in Seattle, Wash., for the first time in school history. The win marks only the fourth time in 20 years that the Gators have lost at home. No. 23 Anna Rogers clinched the match for the Pack against No. 29 McCartney Kessler, her eighth nationally-ranked singles win of the season.
