David Amerson continues to earn his role with Oakland Raiders since being signed to the roster a month ago. The former second round draft pick was credited with being Oakland’s best CB in Week 4 after tallying seven tackles, deflecting a pass and forcing a fumble. In Week 7, Oakland shut down fellow #PackPros collegue, Philip Rivers and his San Diego Chargers. Rivers was not Amerson’s only connection to the Chargers but also faced his former high school teammate and childhood friend Keenan Allen, San Diego’s leading receiver. Amerson made six tackles and deflected one pass in the Week 7 match-up.
