It gets old hearing UNC basketball players have always dreamed of playing in the NBA

As a former teen athlete who wasn’t good enough to play past high school and junior high (depending on the sport), my dream was to play at the University of North Carolina. But after once again hearing a UNC basketball player (Harrison Ingram) leave school early to pursue their dream of playing in the NBA, it’s getting old. Where are the guys who dreamed of playing for Carolina? Or Duke? Or NC State? lol. For more on Harrison Ingram’s departure after one season at UNC, please click here.

At UNC football scrimmage, top quarterbacks complete 12 of 15 for four TDs

On Saturday, and throughout the spring, Conner Harrell and Max Johnson have had similar opportunities to battle for the QB1 spot. But on the field, it’s hard for the two players to be any more different. One is a lefty, and the other is right-handed. One stays lower to the ground at around 6-feet tall, and the other stands over the line at 6-foot-5. One’s played in 30 career games, and the other has taken the field for five. Former UNC Pitcher Criswell Boosts Red Sox With Serviceable Starting Depth

Former UNC Tar Heels pitcher Cooper Criswell signed a one-year deal with the Boston Red Sox and stretched out as a starter in spring training. His stuff impressed during the spring, though he started the season with Triple-A Worcester to stay ready as a starter. His chance would come based on need, which may have come earlier than the Red Sox hoped. Please click here for more.
